Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28 September 2026

1. Who we are

This privacy policy explains how Real Grass Pty Ltd (ABN 82 649 556 678) (“Real Grass”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information collected through our website, realgrass-toilet.com, and when you buy from us. We are a Western Australian business based in Perth, selling real-grass dog toilets and a recurring grass-patch delivery subscription to customers in Perth.

Some small businesses are exempt from the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Whether or not that exemption applies to us, we choose to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as best practice.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and account details: your name, email address, phone number, and customer account login details.
  • Order and delivery details: delivery and billing addresses, order and subscription history, delivery notes and any authority to leave instructions.
  • Payment details: limited transaction information such as payment status, amount and the last digits or type of your card. Card details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored by us. If you pay with cryptocurrency, we receive transaction details such as the amount, currency and related wallet or transaction references.
  • Communications: messages you send us through our contact forms, by email or by phone, and records of emails our website sends to you.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have subscribed to or unsubscribed from our emails, and coupon or promotion use.
  • Technical and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with our site and ads, collected through cookies and similar technologies. This may include the company or organisation associated with your IP address.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health information). You may browse our website without giving us your name, but we need your contact, delivery and payment details to process orders and subscriptions.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information:

We will only use or disclose your information for another purpose if you consent, you would reasonably expect it, or it is required or authorised by law.

5. Direct marketing and how to opt out

We may send you emails about our products, subscription offers and promotions if you have agreed to receive them or where otherwise permitted by law, including the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We use Mailchimp to send marketing emails.

You can opt out at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email, or by contacting us using the details below. We will still send you service messages about your orders, deliveries and subscription.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, tags and local storage). Some are needed for the site to work, such as keeping items in your cart and keeping you signed in. Others help us understand site use and show relevant ads. These come from the following tools on our site:
